the transformation is complete, as of 6 pm. last night I was born into the Greek community of FSU. im now officially a brother of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity Inc. our probate show last night in the student union was one of the most intense performances ive ever given in my life. we were the most talked about pledge line because we are the biggest in the history of fsu, totaling 8 guys. the union was packed to the second floor windows, with frats and sororities turning out in full force. after our show ended,we got rushed by a wave of ppl. friends from my dorm came out,(special thanks to franchesca for making it out there)and i was swarmed by sorority girls that i didn't even know. all of us got presents from random ppl, then it was on to a buffet dinner with the entire frat. we are 22 deep now,so it was a pretty crowded table. then after that, on to the club we went. it was the first time i was in a club in over a month, and once i got up in there it was like turning loose a rabid dog. i was asked to dance by so many girls (including ones i never met), but unfortunately by dance steps need work.looking foward to this weekend now that the rival gators are coming up to get their asses handed to them as usual, while my frat continues to throw parties all weekend long.Halo 2 and GTA this weekend along with the game and more parites. the life of a frat boy......... LAMBDA!!!!!!!!!!!!THETA PHI!!!!!!!!!!!LAMBDA!!!!!!!TILL THE DAY I DIE!!! |

well ladies and gents, ive almost wrapped up my first week as a pledge for lambda theta phi latin fraternity inc. and theres only one famous saying that can sum up the whole experience "its a bitch." i have endured nothing but hell for the past week. i officially began my pledge process after accepting a bid from the frat (and they only handed out 10)last thursday. and since last sunday, my life has been flipped and twisted around. ive been sleeping on my pledge master's living room floor for over a week, my diet now consists of cheerios,oatmeal,spaghetti,mac n cheese,hot dogs, and frozen veggies. i have to sneak around campus to eat at the rfoc (meal plan). my nightly showers last a grand total of 3-5 minutes. ive averaged over 40 hours in the library this week, and i have to put up with 4-6 hours of hazing rituals daily.and i HAVE to b up at 6:30 every morning, even if I don't have class. and this prbly will keep going and getting progressively worse until around my birthday, approximately 3 weeks from now. and thats if everything goes the way its supposed to. the brothers won't tell us when we will cross..........they just tell us that the process will get harder EVERY DAY. that means no parties,no clubbin, no socializing. i hope mitch isn't PO b/c ive avoided him all week in math (not to mention EVERY person I know here).wtf have i gotten myself into? did I sell my soul for a shot at the big time? |

yea its been a long time i know, but college life is too dope to talk about one day at a time. just had the weekend to end all weekends. Halloween Horror Nights will claim your soul bitches. Bounced at class on friday around 12:30 to trip down to orlando for the reunion. took turns driving with amy and made plenty of rest stops. got to ucf around 5, and started bummin out in the dorms. chilled in sean brodies crib till about 2 am, then went to a frat party my homegirl told me to meet her at. yea there was beer and bitches, but the party was mad weak (theta beta phi.....fuck em) NEway came back around 4 am and crashed. woke up and went back to jesse's spot, where the uf ppl finally made their long awaited entrance, and a while after that, Cheech and Chong aka Dale Greenstein & Greg Pace. of course they walked in smellin of the sacred herb, and with a massive munchie attack. finally ditched them and went back to gather our bags to load up in the cars. broke out to universal around 7, didn't actually get in until close to 8:30. once inside the gate, all we had to do was let the fog envelope us in its embrace...............and after skating past the aliens that jumped out of the fog at us, we made it to the point of evil. from there, we had our pick of 7 different haunted houses, so we hit up the Disorientorium. took us about 2 hours to get in the bitch, all the while a pack of freakin Cubans are behind us never shuttin the hell up. so went into the house, and it was the most insane shit any person will see. just try to imagine poppin sum x at the club and tryin to hit the dance floor. all the colors.......plus the moving floors and mirrors. finally got out of there a little on edge, but not too bad. after grabbing a quick bite to eat, started walking through islands of adventure toward jurassic park. pretty creepy there too with plant ppl jumpin out of the dark at you. tried unsuccessfully to ride duealing dragons, and after waitng for over an hour, they shut the bitch down. it was around 12, so we decided to hit over to universal studios. had to pass through a modern day hell (Fright Yard) to get there. chainsaw wielding psychos, fire, destroyed cars, and amy lan and sarah's constant screaming (thats that good shit). tried to get on the revenge of the mummy which is supposed to b badass, but they shut it down just as we got in line. totally gay, but then decided to hit one more house b4 the place shut down, so we decided on Castle Vampyr. took about an hour, but it was worth it. i can honestly say i was scared shitless while walkin through that bitch. just imagine yourself walkin through a dark hallway, with curtains blowing in your face, and a red eyed fanged freak jumps out at you. repeat through a multitude of rooms, and you'll b paranoid till sunrise. walked through a cornfield, with chainsaw slangin hicks and scarecrows jumpin out every other step. there was also a haunted carnival to walk through, but we skipped it (the idea of a psycho clown jumpin out of the dark would have me in a strait-jacket already). so we left the place around 3 am, and got to the townhouse around 4:30 after getting lost with pretner and brodie. stayed up till almost sunrise eating junk food and watching family guy. woke up early the next day, and parted our ways to our respective colleges. hope the kiddies had fun at homecoming, and that if my boyz landed and nailed them honeys to the wall like prize bass, that they broke out the jimmy hats. i gotta peep HHN again next year, but im goin all out. its all about the express pass baby!!! |

hurricanes can b a devastating force of nature tru, but they have just gone up on my list of excuses to ditch school and road trip. went to orlando on wendsday night after they closed school with my friends george and mehal. so we piled up all our shit into georges eclispe, and made it by 11 pm to gainesville to drop mehal off at uf. then by 1 am we got to georges crib in orlando, right down the road from ucf.the festivities started the next day, with a visit to the hallowed grounds of ucf. met up with the infamous sean, jessie and paul. now for those of u who are sports savy, since when does wearing an fsu shirt elicit dirty looks and comments from ppl at ucf (our teams aren't in the same conference jackasses!!)but NEway, ucf was mad chill. friday woke up at 12 and spent most of the afternoon in a barbershop gettin my hair cut so that i would look good for the club. at midnight, went to a off the chain latin club called mr. high. went with george, diego,and two hot dymes. danced our asses off till 3:30 in the morning, got home around 5. saturday was a trip to the florida mall (freakin huge)and the boxing match, got my 1st taste of hypno.got home late last night, with all my homework done.and the fuckin NOLES WON!!! to say the least, my weekend was spent though i heard there was a "pimps & hoes" party in our dorm.o well, the year is young. let the good times roll. |

yea, hurricane Ivan was supposed to hit us here in tally with a force greater than andrew............yea, your mom. the weather has been cloudy all day and raining, but they still won't cancel school.earlier they closed the public schools,but now they reopened them,and they didn't even consider shutting down fsu.i wuz hopin to maybe party for the rest of the week,maybe go to orlando,and put off writing my final draft of my english paper.damn.o well,things could always change. |
